Who doesn’t love ric-rac? Before sewing machines became a regular household feature, ric-rac (or rick-rack) was often used to finish hems and raw edges. Now it is more often used as a trim – particularly on children’s clothes. Now available in 9mm and 20mm widths and several vibrant colours. Sold by the meter.
