Late 1800’s jacket was all about cut & tailoring as an indicator of quality. Lined double-breasted jackets have two-piece sleeves with gathers, back pleats & shaped hemline; wrong side of fabric & lining will show. FABRICS: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals.

Wool/Wool Blends, Suiting Fabrics. Lining: Cotton/Cotton Blends, Lining Fabric. Interfacing: Sew-In Interfacing.
Note: Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.
